Stats and Stories about Real Estate in Chattanooga Tennessee

What's going on in Chattanooga?

Being Grateful

Gratefull (formerly known as One Table) is returning this year. The free, community-wide Thanksgiving luncheon that’s been canceled the past two years will make its triumphant return on Thurs., Nov. 17. The details:

  • Where | In the middle of the 200 block of E. MLK Boulevard (in front of the Bessie Smith Cultural Center)

  • When | 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

  • What | Party Bites will provide turkey and dressing while businesses like Neidlov’s, Community Pie, Main Street Meats, and Coca-cola will donate side dishes + drinks. People are encouraged to bring supplies (like nonperishable food, hygienic supplies, etc.) to benefit the Maclellan Shelter for Families.

If I'm not helping my clients buy or sell a home, you can catch me at these events or enjoying the great outdoor activities like riding my motorcycle, paddle boarding, playing with my dog Lucy, or trail running.

Eye Catcher of the week comes from Harrison for $530,000.

Lost Lakes is a great subdivision with their own private small lake to paddle board or kayak. This home is almost new being built in 2021 and just waiting for the new owner to come enjoy the 6 acres and country living in peace.

Current Market Update

September's report showed a slow down of new listings followed closely by the slow down of closed sales resulting is the absorption rate leveling off in the market. The over all number of listings on the market stayed relatively the same continuing to give buyers more options than they had earlier in the year. We are now at a 96% sold to list ratio though so the number of listings is growing slowly.

I Love Lucy

Lucy got to go play with her friend Nala today and they both loved chasing after the rope and arguing over who was going to give it to me.

It's hard for me to think she had been living in a kennel her whole life until 2 months ago when I got her. She has adapted so well and she was trained so easily. I love that little dog a lot!
